Big Changes in 2026!

We hear you!

North Little Rock Electric is always evaluating ways that we can improve our services. In 2026, North Little Rock Electric will launch our new customer experience, giving our customers an updated customer portal, new payment methods, and more. Beyond the customer-facing changes, this upgrade will allow for a more efficient approach to our day-to-day business operations. We believe that this new software will make a meaningful upgrade to our current business enterprise software while providing our customers with a better overall experience. We are very excited about the changes coming next year and can’t wait to share more with you! Below is just a sample of what’s changing next year, with more information releasing as we approach our 2026 launch date.

What do I need to do?

At this time, there is nothing required for our customers to do. We are working with our new software provider to determine how customer accounts will move to the new system. One thing we are prioritizing during the conversion is minimizing the overall impact on the customer while maintaining secure standards for all data being transferred into the new system. We are working to bring over all possible data over.

For security reasons, important information like payment information and passwords may not be able to move over automatically. Customers might have to provide that information when setting up their new login details for the Customer Portal/App. We are currently working on evaluating which data can be transferred over. Once we determine what the finalized data transition looks like, we will let you know of any action required. Any data that is able to be transferred will be handled with the utmost security. Expect to see more information early in 2026 as we work towards rolling out these system changes.

What are some of the changes that customers can expect to see?

We are currently ironing out some of the details of our software changes, but here is what we can share today! More information will roll out closer to our official launch date. Be on the lookout for future information!

New Customer App & Portal

Our new software will come with a brand-new customer portal & mobile app (you will need to install our new app once we are moved over to the new system). Securely log into our NEW My Account to access your utility service details in one place. You will have easy access to your profile, billing information, payment options, current outage information, and the ability to report outages directly.

More Payment Options

You will have more options to pay your way! North Little Rock Electric will be accepting new payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal! We will release more information about all of the new options as we get closer to launch. You can also save your payment information for future transactions, make a one-time payment, or set up automatic payments with ease.

When should I expect to see more information?

We are planning on launching our new experience in mid 2026! You will receive more information at the beginning of the year, going over these changes in more detail. Look out for more info as we get closer to going live with our new software!
