Yes, your bill may be higher this month! During August, NLR Electric converted our billing system and the August bills contained additional usage days causing bills to be higher. The NLR Electric September bill will not have as many days on it and will reflect a normal billing period. We know that this is troubling and are working to do everything we can to help our customers.
To minimize the impact of the additional bill days, you can apply for an extension by completing this FORM. The extension will give you an extra 7 days to make payment.
Our new system brings some much needed updates as well. Two of the biggest changes are the statement bills and a payment app with no processing fees.
NLR Electric will finally be moving from the postcard bill to statement bill. The new statement bill features an easy to read format with additional detailed information about electric services.
The new statement bill will also include a new account number. Please reference this new number when making payments. To understand your new bill click HERE.
The NLR Electric app is our free online bill payment system that also allows you to review and monitor your energy usage. If you are new to paying your bill online, you will need to create a NLR Electric app account. We do have to ask our customers who already pay online to create a new account, although it is an extra step, we know you will find it worth it. Find out more HERE!!
